My most recent work is light and soft, the colors are rich and natural.
Several red hues, lightest of pinks, dark petrol blues. The shapes are organic and flowy, the layers are transparent and washy. The work has unapologetic fluid, feminine movement. It’s asking to be both large and small. It is asking to be both dense in certain areas and transparent and airy in others. The work is asking me to…
find strength in the softness.
If womanhood and painting has taught me anything it is to go with the flow. I do my best, with the sphere of influence that I have. The rest is out of my control. I hope you can find strength in the softness and comfort in letting go.
