Week 4 : Fall (Flow)

harvesting meaning, savoring.

Goal: Integration,

Rituals: reflect on what feels alive.

Creative asks: gather fragments

    • Check-in: “What materials or marks have I been drawn to this week?”

    • Microbrave action: Collect 3 parts or pieces of your recent work → circle/highlight/note what feels alive. What will you want to take with you forward? Some good starts?

    • Closing ritual: Write one sentence: “I feel most alive when…”

    • Check-in: “What thought/idea/theme keeps looping in my mind lately?”

    • Microbrave action: Make 3-5 quick sketches/marks responding to that thought. What are some subjects that you could use to represent this or inquire about in relation to this idea.

    • Closing ritual: Whisper that thought once, then release it with a breath.

    • Check-in: “What mystery or question pulls me?”

    • Microbrave action: Write the question big on a page → layer marks/colors over it.

    • Closing ritual: Touch the page and say: “I’m in process.”

    • Check-in: “What’s been delighting me lately?” What did I used to love as a child?

    • Microbrave action: Create something just from liking,  your favorite color, shape, texture. There’s something magical and healing to make for pleasure.

    • Closing ritual: Smile (even if small). Let yourself feel it.

    • Check-in: “What are my materials trying to say today?”

    • Microbrave action: Choose one material → let it lead (ink run, pastel smudge, thick paint).

    • Closing ritual: Journal one line: “Today my [material] told me…”

    • Check-in: “What do I want more of, in my art, my life, or my finances?”

    • Microbrave action: Lay out several works. Notice which feel expansive and which feel tight. Respond visually or in writing to:
“If my art were allowed to want what it wants, it would move toward…”

    • Closing ritual: Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Say:
“It is safe for me to want. Wanting does not make me greedy.”

    • Check-in: “What meaning is beginning to emerge for me?”

    • Microbrave action: Choose one favorite page, piece, or mark → write 5 words that describe its feeling. Let that guide one more mark-making session.

    • Closing ritual: Light a candle or take a deep grounding breath to seal the week.
